01 What products does JV Auto Shop sell?
JV Auto Shop sells automotive products including replacement engines, used engines, wheels, car seats and other motor spare parts available through our online store.
02 Do you sell new and used automotive parts?
Yes. Product condition is stated on the relevant listing. Some products may be new, while others may be used, reconditioned or second-hand.
03 Do you sell complete replacement engines?
Complete replacement engines may be available depending on current inventory. Review the product listing or contact us with your vehicle and engine details.
04 Are used engines tested before sale?
Any inspection, testing or condition information that applies to a particular engine will be stated in the product listing, invoice or written product description. Customers should not assume testing that has not been expressly confirmed.
05 Do you sell individual wheels and complete sets?
Availability varies by product. A listing will state whether the price is for one wheel, a pair or a complete set.
06 Are tyres included with wheel purchases?
Tyres are included only when the product description expressly states that they are included. Product photographs alone should not be treated as confirmation that tyres form part of the sale.
07 Do you sell replacement car seats?
Yes. Replacement car seats may be available for different makes and models. Confirm mounting points, wiring, airbags and restraint-system compatibility before purchase.
08 Are accessories shown in product photographs included?
Only the products and accessories expressly listed in the written description are included. Background items and display accessories may not form part of the sale.
09 How do I confirm whether a part fits my vehicle?
Compare the product specifications with your vehicle details and contact us before ordering. Useful information includes:

10 Can you help me identify the correct engine?

11 What wheel information should I check?
Check wheel diameter, width, offset, stud pattern, centre bore, load rating, brake clearance and tyre compatibility.
12 Can I rely only on the vehicle model name?
No. Vehicles of the same model may use different engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes or mounting arrangements. Always verify the complete specifications.
13 Should automotive parts be professionally installed?
Engines, wheels, seats, wiring, airbags, restraints and safety-related components should be inspected and installed by a suitably qualified automotive professional where appropriate.
14 What happens if I order the wrong part?
Where the wrong product was independently selected using incorrect or incomplete customer information, the return may be treated as a change-of-mind return. The 30-day return conditions will apply.
15 Which payment methods do you accept?
JV Auto Shop currently accepts:
- Bank Transfer.
- Osko through participating Australian banks.
16 Can I pay by credit card?
Credit-card and debit-card payments are currently unavailable.
17 How do I pay through Osko?
Use the verified payment details supplied on the checkout page, official invoice or order confirmation. Include the correct order or invoice reference.
18 Is an Osko payment always instant?
Many Osko payments are processed quickly, but a bank may delay a new, unusual or high-value transaction for security or compliance checks.
19 When is my order considered paid?
An order is considered paid after cleared funds appear in the verified JV Auto Shop account and can be matched to the order.
20 How can I verify your bank details?
Use only details shown on our website, checkout, official invoice or an email from sales@jvautoshopau.com. Verify any unexpected change before transferring funds.
21 Do you offer payment plans?
Payment plans are not currently listed as an accepted payment option. Full payment is generally required before an order is processed.
22 What is your standard shipping fee?
Eligible standard Australian orders are charged a flat shipping fee of AUD $149.
23 How long does standard delivery take?
Eligible standard orders are delivered within a maximum of 5–7 business days after cleared payment and order confirmation.
24 Does the AUD $149 fee cover complete engines?
Not usually. Complete engines, transmissions, palletised goods and other heavy or oversized products generally require an individual freight quote.
25 Why do heavy products require a freight quote?
Freight prices depend on actual weight, cubic size, pallet requirements, destination postcode, delivery access and whether lifting equipment is required.
26 Do you deliver throughout Australia?
Delivery is available to many Australian destinations, subject to carrier availability, product size and safe access at the delivery address.
27 Do remote areas cost more?
Remote, island, mining, farm or restricted-access deliveries may require a separate quote, depot collection or an adjusted delivery timeframe.
28 Will I receive tracking information?
Tracking details will be supplied where the selected carrier provides tracking. Palletised freight may also involve direct carrier contact.
29 What should I do if my order is delayed?
Contact sales@jvautoshopau.com with your order number if an eligible standard order has not arrived within the confirmed timeframe.
30 What should I do if a product arrives damaged?
Photograph the packaging, freight label, pallet and product. Retain the packaging and contact us promptly for instructions.
31 Can engines be delivered to a residential address?
This depends on carrier access and unloading requirements. A commercial address, forklift, loading dock, tail-lift vehicle or depot collection may be required.
32 What is your return period?
Eligible change-of-mind return requests must be made within 30 calendar days after delivery.
33 What condition must a change-of-mind return be in?
The product should ordinarily be unused, uninstalled, complete, undamaged and suitable for resale, with original packaging where reasonably possible.
34 Can I return an installed part because I changed my mind?
Installed, used, wired, programmed, fluid-filled or modified products are generally not eligible for a voluntary change-of-mind return.
35 Who pays return freight for a change-of-mind return?
The customer is responsible for reasonable return freight on an approved change-of-mind return.
36 Who pays return freight for a faulty product?
Where a product is confirmed faulty and Australian Consumer Law requires a remedy, JV Auto Shop will reimburse reasonable return costs or arrange suitable transport.
37 How long do approved refunds take?
JV Auto Shop will initiate an approved refund within a maximum of 14 calendar days.
38 How will my refund be paid?
Refunds are generally returned to the verified originating bank account or through the original payment channel.
39 Do I need the original paper receipt?
No. Reasonable proof may include an invoice, online order confirmation, account history or Bank Transfer or Osko record.
40 Are products covered by Australian Consumer Law?
Yes, where the Australian Consumer Law applies. Products come with automatic consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
41 What is a major product failure?
A failure may be major where a product is unsafe, substantially different from its description, seriously unfit for purpose or cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time.
42 What remedy is available for a major failure?
An eligible consumer may generally reject the product and choose between a refund and replacement, subject to applicable law.
43 What happens when the fault is minor?
JV Auto Shop may first repair the product, replace the affected component or provide another remedy permitted by law.
44 Are used engines covered by consumer guarantees?
Yes. However, acceptable quality is assessed with regard to age, mileage where known, condition, price, description and disclosed wear or defects.
45 Can incorrect installation affect a warranty claim?
Damage caused solely by incorrect installation, misuse, contamination, overheating or unauthorised modification may not be covered by a voluntary warranty. Statutory rights still apply where the product itself was faulty.
46 Is JV Auto Shop registered for GST?
JV Autoshop is not currently registered for GST. Therefore, GST is not currently added or separately charged on customer orders.
47 Will I receive a tax invoice?
While JV Autoshop remains unregistered for GST, customers receive an invoice or receipt rather than a GST tax invoice.
